For the 2025/2026 study year registration is open from October 7, 2024 to January 15, 2025.
Please, be advised that scholarship includes:
- free tuition for the entire duration of the chosen program;
- monthly allowances, which will be the same as the ones for Russian citizens;
- dormitory accommodation (if available)
The scholarship doesn't include:
- travel expenses;
- living expenses;
- voluntary health insurance costs;
- visa fees;
- other expenses
Russian language
If a student can’t speak Russian good enough to study at the university, he can first apply for a 1-year preparation course.
Education programs
A candidate can choose either a complete (bachelor, master, post graduate, internship) or a continuing educational programs (short-term course, summer school, including Russian as a foreign language development course for teachers). You can find available programs list at https://education-in-russia.com/ portal.
When filling up online application form you can choose up to 6 universities (by priority).
Candidates can contact chosen universities foreign affairs departments by themselves to know more about educational programs.
Please, be advised that you need to upload both your diploma and its academic transcript which must be legalized and translated into Russian. Copy of a passport and health and HIV test certificates must be translated as well.

Attention candidates who successfully passed the first stage of selection for studying in the Russian Federation:
The Russian Federal Agency for International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo) submitted the lists of candidates to the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education for their subsequent distribution to educational organizations through the Ministry's information system https://education-in-russia.com/.
After posting the dossier, you will be granted access to https://education-in-russia.com/ through which you will receive a notification about your selected University (the application status will change to "distributed"). After changing the status of application to “directed” in the system, you will need to contact that University (the contacts of the educational organizations can be found on https://education-in-russia.com/) and specify the order, terms and conditions of enrollment, as well as other information that interests you.
