Trip to Russia

Attention!

Issuance of all categories of Russian visas for residents of Taiwan resumes from August 24, 2021. 

Who can apply:

- Taiwan passport holders;

- Foreigners who have residence permit (ARC or APRC), or any other documents confirming the right for permanent residence in Taiwan. Providing a document confirming the right to permanently reside in Taiwan is a prerequisite for applying for a visa. Foreign residents who do not have documents confirming the right to permanently reside in Taiwan, are advised to apply for visas at the Russian consular offices in their country of citizenship.

Notes:

Entry to the territory of Russia is possible by direct flights from Taiwan or through the airports of the countries specified in Appendix 1 to the Order of the Government of the Russian Federation dated March 16, 2020 No. 635-r.

Please also note that the issuance of electronic visas through the online portal is still suspended.

We remind that foreign citizens heading to Russia must:

- Before registering for the flight - provide a medical certificate with a negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) PCR test result issued at most 72 hours before arrival. The medical certificate must be issued in Russian or in English. If unable to provide the above mentioned PCR-test certificate, it may be issued in other language, but its translation must be attested in our Office.

- Fill-in the a special arrival form (will be provided onboard a plane or upon arrival).

- If the purpose of travel is engaging in labour activity it is necessary to undergo 14-days quarantine. 

- If feeling unwell (fever, cough, loss of taste or smell etc.) within 14-days after entrering Russian Federation you must ask for immediate medical help without visiting medical institutions by calling 103 or 112.
