The Moscow-Taipei Coordination Commission on Economic and Cultural Cooperation (MTC) is a non-governmental organization to promote unofficial ties between Russia and Taiwan, functioning in accordance with the Decree of the President of Russia No. 1072 from 15/09/1992 “The relations between Russian Federation and Taiwan”.
The Representative Office in Taipei for the MTC was founded in December, 1996 with its main tasks to promote economic, cultural, scientific and technical cooperation between Russia and Taiwan, provide consular services and protect interests of Russian citizens.
