To study in Russian universities, our office would like to remind you, that:

The time of application for courses in universities of Russia

It is recommended to send all the documents not later than 3 months before the beginning of the term. The year consists of two semesters: autumn semester (01.09-24.01) and spring semester (07.02-30.06). The tuition for the degree of Bachelor (BSc/BA) lasts 8 semesters; Master (MSc/MA) - 4 semesters; Doctor (PhD) - 6 semesters. The international applicants are supposed to take a test in Russian language.

Visa support:

Usually to get an official invitation for coming to Russia the applicant must send the documents listed below to the International Office of the university by post or fax not later than three months before classes start:

      • filled in application forms;
      • copy of the first two pages of passport of the applicant

Once the documents are received and considered, the university will send the applicant an official invitation.

The list of the documents and time of application we wrote about is common, but not specified for each univercity. For more detailed information contact the international offices of the university.

Please, check out the list of documents You need to apply for Russian student visa in our Office:

      • University or institute's invitation proceeded through the Russian Ministry of interior or MOFA;
      • A passport valid for the duration of stay in Russia;
      • copy of Passport;
      • copy of ID;
      • One photo less then six month old (2 inches)

UPON, not before going to Russia, international students sign the contract that states specialty, duration of studies, tuition fee. For contract on studies to be signed the applicant should submit the documents listed below to the International Office of the university:

      • certificates and diplomas stating your qualification and their notary attested translation in Russian:
        for Bachelor Programme (BS?BA): High School/College certificate
        for Master Programme (MS?MA): Bachelor or Specialist Diploma
        for Doctoral Studies (PhD): Master or Specialist Diploma
      • Transcripts
      • Medical Certificate including AIDS test
      • Medical Insurance Policy.

The documents on academic background and medical certificates should be translated into Russian and attested by the Russian Embassy, Consulate general or Representative office at the country where the documents are issued or by the Embassy, Consulate general or Representative office of the country of applicant or by notary in Russia.

Usually upon the arrival You will be invited for an interview to check the actual level of Your russian.
